iTunesKeys Broken with New iTunes 12.7.0.166 Update?

Postby thenothingx » Mon Oct 02, 2017 9:07 am

Good morning!

Recently, my iTunes updated to 12.7.0.166, and since then, my copy of iTunesKeys has not been working properly. My computer will successfully start iTunesKeys, which starts iTunes, but immediately after changing to the next song, iTunesKeys will crash. I reviewed my event viewer, and came up with these two entries:

.NET Runtime error:

I think you can call this one resolved. Using the stack trace for the error, I went and tracked down the user.config file in my Windows user profile and saw that it was 0 kb. Maybe it got closed prematurely and the file corrupted itself. Deleting the file and restarting iTunesKeys fixed the issue.
