Windows 7 "Dock" shortcuts cannot be overriden

Postby Flare » Thu May 24, 2012 10:40 am

I'm an avid user of iTunesKeys. i've always used the "WIN" key for my shortcuts, back when I had Windows XP they would work great.

Problem right now is, with Windows 7, the WIN key is used for some "window dock" shortcuts. For example WIN+RIGHT and WIN+LEFT are used to dock a window to the left and right of the monitor.

I used WIN+RIGHT/LEFT for iTunesKeys and this app cannot overwrite the Windows 7 ones. Can this be done, either via the application or through a registry edit?

This question has some answers here:

It doesn't look like there is any simple way to do this, but there are some workarounds they mention.
