Newbie here - basic question

Postby sranauta » Thu May 17, 2012 1:27 pm

Hello
I woudl be happy to make a donation as I am desperate for the following functionality.
Hope this is already doable or easily buildable

here goes:
In a play list I need to be able to set any track to repeat after it has started using a hotkey.
Then when using another or same hotkey I turn the 'repeat track' off it should finish playing that track and start playing the next track. Then I can use the same hotkeys to do the same again with the currently playing track.

I can do this already manually using a mouse and it works great albeit takes a few click to cycle thru no repeat , repeat all, repeat one.

If I can assign hotkeys I will then assign a USB footswith to these hotkeys and this would turn Itunes into one very powerfull backing track player for musicians.

So far I have found Itunes is the only media player that can do this manually.

I think all you're asking for is a hotkey to cycle the repeat modes? I just uploaded a version that lets you assign a key for that. It will cycle through iTunes' modes, Off -> Track -> All -> Off.
